It’s the time for old friends to come together for a professional reason. Salman Khan and Karan Johar are set to start their maiden joint production venture and the same will star none other than their close friend Akshay Kumar.
The trio announced their big project through social media and the film will hit the screen in 2018.

The movie will be directed by top Punjabi director Anurag Singh who previously directed the movie Dil Bole Hadippa and many Punjabi hits which includes Jatt and Juliet and Punjab 1984.

Salman and Akshay previously shared screen space in few movies like Mujhse Shadi Karoge and Jaan –e-Man. Salman and Karan share special relation with Salman starring in Karan Johar’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
After the announcement of the big project of the trio, Bollywood king also expressed his will to work with Akshay Kumar. In an interview with DNA, Khan said he also envisioned such a project, “It should have been done a long time back. But it’s very good that Karan and Salman are making a film with Akshay. I wanted to do that. But the story and all didn’t work out. I am sure he is really open to it. I think whenever there is an opportunity, as producers, we should make this happen”
For the moment, the title and the story of the new production remains under wraps.
